I wrote a song using the plot of Bioshock as a metaphor for how I was feeling at the time... more or less betrayed by a person I thought I could trust, yet still mindlessly compelled to help them anyway.
This is what I was visualizing when I wrote the song. I'm a 1950's jazz singer at Fort Frolic. A Big Daddy accompanies me on piano, and a Little Sister plays the horn. Behind me, the rest of the city of rapture. There's a bit of blood on the walls -- splicers are in the audience. But hey, be cool. Enjoy the music. The original (100% original crayon-and-watercolor piece) is on sale on eBay! No prints have been made or anything! This is the only copy in the entire WORLD. [link] |
